At Trojans (Trosol), we are committed to conducting our business ethically and transparently. We take a strong stance against modern slavery and human trafficking, and we are committed to ensuring that our operations, supply chains, and business practices are free from such abuses. This statement outlines our ongoing efforts to combat modern slavery and human trafficking in accordance with the PK Modern Slavery Act and other relevant legislation.

Our Commitment to Tackling Modern Slavery

We recognize that modern slavery is a significant global issue that can manifest in various forms, including forced labor, child labor, human trafficking, and exploitation. As a responsible business, we are committed to:

  • Ensuring transparency within our supply chains.

  • Proactively identifying and mitigating risks of modern slavery in our operations and the operations of our suppliers.

  • Promoting ethical business practices that support human rights and dignity for all individuals.

  • Complying with the Modern Slavery Act and all applicable local and international laws to ensure a modern slavery-free environment.

Organizational Structure & Operations

Trojans operates in multiple countries and regions, providing cutting-edge technology solutions and services. Our business model involves:

  • Research and Development (R&D)

  • Manufacturing and Product Design

  • Sales and Marketing

  • Client Support and Services

We have established robust systems for monitoring and managing our global operations, ensuring that we identify and address any risks of modern slavery within our organization and supply chain.

Supply Chain Transparency & Risk Assessment

As part of our commitment to preventing modern slavery, we have implemented a Supply Chain Due Diligence Process. This involves:

  1. Supplier Screening & Risk Assessments:

    • We evaluate our suppliers based on their adherence to ethical practices and human rights standards. This includes assessments for the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking.

    • We use both self-assessment questionnaires and third-party audits to assess the compliance of suppliers with our ethical standards.

  2. Supplier Code of Conduct:

    • All suppliers are required to comply with Trojans’ Supplier Code of Conduct, which outlines our expectations regarding ethical business practices, including the prohibition of modern slavery and human trafficking.

    • This code emphasizes respect for human rights, fair wages, safe working conditions, and prohibitions on forced, bonded, and child labor.

  3. Supplier Audits & Monitoring:

    • We conduct regular audits of our suppliers, particularly in regions where the risks of modern slavery are higher.

    • Audits focus on the review of labor practices, working conditions, and evidence of any form of modern slavery in the supply chain.

    • If any violations are found, corrective actions are taken, and we work closely with suppliers to improve compliance.

Employee Awareness & Training

We believe that awareness and education are essential to preventing modern slavery. Therefore, we ensure that:

  • Employee Training: All employees receive mandatory training on modern slavery awareness, including how to recognize potential signs of exploitation or forced labor. Training is provided to both operational and management teams to ensure they understand the importance of detecting and reporting any suspicious activities.

  • Whistleblower Mechanism: Employees and stakeholders can confidentially report any concerns related to modern slavery, forced labor, or human trafficking. We have established clear whistleblower policies to ensure that reports are taken seriously and investigated promptly, without fear of retaliation.

Governance and Accountability

Our leadership team plays an active role in overseeing the implementation of modern slavery prevention measures. The Board of Directors and Executive Management are responsible for:

  • Setting strategic goals to address modern slavery and ensuring that these goals are integrated into the company’s operations.

  • Monitoring compliance with the Modern Slavery Act and assessing the effectiveness of the anti-slavery policies and practices.

  • Reviewing progress and ensuring that any risks or incidents related to modern slavery are addressed swiftly.

Continuous Improvement

At Trojans, we are committed to continuously improving our practices to combat modern slavery. We recognize that this is an ongoing process, and we will continue to:

  • Regularly review and update our policies and procedures to ensure they remain effective.

  • Enhance our due diligence processes to identify and mitigate risks in high-risk sectors and regions.

  • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to advocate for broader systemic changes to eradicate modern slavery across industries.

  • Engage with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and other industry bodies to stay informed on best practices and further strengthen our anti-slavery efforts.
