Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze physical components and create digital CAD models using 3D scanning or manual measurement.
• Use reverse engineering software (Geomagic, Rapidform, or PolyWorks) to reconstruct parts.
• Modify and optimize existing designs for manufacturability or performance improvements.
• Validate models against original parts for dimensional accuracy.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to support legacy part reproduction.
• Document reverse engineering processes and maintain version control.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in reverse engineering or product development.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX).
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerancing standards.
• Experience with 3D scanning and metrology tools.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in aerospace, automotive, or medical device industries.
• Knowledge of additive manufacturing (3D printing) workflows.
• Certification in reverse engineering or advanced CAD modeling.
